The luncheon and networking event will feature a discussion on the economic impact and sustainable business influence of the West Michigan Fruit Ridge. The featured speaker is Gordon Moeller\, Secretary\, and Treasurer of Ridge Economic Agricultural Partners (REAP)\, who will highlight the region's sustainable agriculture projects. An Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm representative will discuss how the family has sustained its farm since 1922\, and how its modern practices are promoting environmental health and prosperity. Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm Market is a family-owned and operated local farm\, certified for environmental responsibility by Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program. The farm boasts over 170 acres of asparagus\, strawberries\, cherries\, apples\, and pumpkins\, and boasts a family farming tradition of almost 100 years. The event will be limited to 50 people due to space restrictions and public health precautions. WMSBF will abide by all current COVID rules and expectations. Lunch is included.
