In fact, with the increasing dependence on sales tax to fund local governments, sales taxes have expanded to cover almost anything that a business sells – from products to services and everything in-between. You need to be aware of them no matter what industry you’re in. Let’s learn the basics of sales tax and how to track and record them in QuickBooks.
