Entrepreneur YOU! a collaboration between Davenport University, Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW), and the Michigan Women's Foundation is a day of education and resources for women who have a passion for entrepreneurship. Attend and learn about the unique challenges and opportunities that women entrepreneurs often encounter. Leave with educational and technical resources, sharpen your skills, and gain powerful contacts. Date: Friday, March 4, 2016 Time: 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Location: Davenport University Sneden Center (6191 Kraft Avenue, Grand Rapids) Cost: $70 (includes continental breakfast and lunch) The conference will provide resources for businesses at all stages, so whether your company is in its early stages or is well established, you will find support and resources. Conference topics include marketing, finance, hiring, sales, succession planning, business modeling, procurement, and more. Registration is now open. Get Involved We are currently looking for conference presenters, sponsors, and exhibitors. Workshop Presenters: We invite you to share your expertise and insights with women entrepreneurs. Workshop offerings are designed to provide attendees with tools and strategies that will help their businesses to flourish. There are three conference tracks: launch (for new businesses), grow (for mid-stage businesses), and sustain (for established businesses). We welcome proposals on a variety of topics, including but not limited to: customer service strategies, human resources, social media, sales, finance, and technology. Conference Sponsors: We invite organizations to join with GROW, Davenport University, and the Michigan Women?s Foundation to encourage and connect with current and future business owners through financial support of Entrepreneur YOU. Your support will enhance the economic diversity and success of women's entrepreneurship in our community. Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available. Conference Exhibitors: We invite applications from businesses whose products or services appeal to women entrepreneurs and support the conference mission. Connect with interested entrepreneurs and build new business relationships. The fee to participate is $250, which includes mention in the program booklet, a copy of the attendee list, and a boxed lunch. The application deadline is January 15, 2016.
