| Summary of Position: | Part-time doctorate-level teaching and related responsibilities at on- and off-campus locations, as well as online. Applications will be held until vacancies occur, at which time qualified candidates may be contacted. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is being used for face to face and/or online instruction. The anticipated start date of this position is January of 2023 at the earliest and August of 2023 at the latest. |

| Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: | Doctoral teaching experience. Online teaching experience. Certificate in Online Teaching. Relevant administrative experience in community colleges. |
| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: | Teach doctorate level courses in the DCCL program via mixed delivery. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area. |
| Marginal Duties/Responsibilities: | Faculty members also have professional responsibilities, which may include but are limited to: keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (ex. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time). |

Most DCCL courses are blended, with one face-to-face weekend and the balance being online. Face-to-face locations may include Big Rapids, MI, Grand Rapids, MI, Houston, TX or other possible future sites. Are you willing to travel to any of these locations for face-to-face offerings?
