Hello, I am Silverio, and I have 23 years of experience in dance and Quinceañera choreography. I grew up on the southwest side of Grand Rapids, where I found my passion for the arts as a teen. Dance became a lifeline during tough times and opened the door to a career rooted in creativity and community.
That path led me to create Alas Creative Studio, a nonprofit offering Latino youth a safe space to express themselves and celebrate their culture. My work with families inspired the Quinceañera Expo, a vibrant event where small businesses showcase their services and connect directly with the community.
Both projects reflect my commitment to uplifting others through art, culture, and opportunity. I’m proud of where I come from, and even prouder to give back.
