The WMHCC presents our monthly Talleres Empresariales. These business workshops help local Hispanic business owners and entrepreneurs learn more about business necessities. Local leaders give a presentation on the monthly topic and breakfast is served as well. Reminder: these workshops are in Spanish.

Preparing Yourself For Lending

It's often said to apply for credit before you need it - but why? And how can you prepare yourself and your business to be bankable? This workshop will help participants learn about the factors that impact business lending, the role that your personal credit plays and options for non-traditional financing.

Facilitator Information: Leandra Nisbet is an entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience in leadership and sales & marketing. Prior to launching her businesses, she worked in the financial services industry for over 8 years in various roles. In addition to two other ventures, Leandra owns Stingray Advisory Group - a GRBJ Top Women-Owned Business, focusing on helping companies with their financial organization, marketing and strategic planning needs.

Arianna Hovey has been in the banking industry for the past 8 years. In her current role with Consumers Credit Union, she provides financial education for 500+ employers. She is bi-lingual and enjoys helping the Hispanic community to bridge the gap between the financial world.
