About Us:
Since 1993, The Children's Advocacy Center of Kent County has supported over 25,000 children and families through our one-of-a-kind multidisciplinary approach. We provide a space where a child has access to every service they may need and where they only have to tell their story once. The Center has been dedicated to creating a supportive environment by creating safe, trauma-informed support while seeking justice for child victims of sexual assault. We are passionate about building trust to provide life-changing services that inspire and promote hope for children and their caregivers while empowering communities by teaching students age-appropriate tools to protect themselves from sexual abuse. Since 2005, CAC's Kids Have Rights ™ program has educated 202,340 students in body safety.
