About This Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated AR Specialist to join our growing office team and help support our financial operations. This role is responsible for preparing and processing invoices, managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff.

In This Role You Will:

• Align to our values as an organization
• Utilize strong organizational and detail orientation to prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner and process customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
• Collaborate with project managers and accounting staff to resolve billing discrepancies, review job cost details and contracts to ensure accurate customer billing
• Partner with external accountant to assist with month-end close process and financial reporting
• Be customer focused by providing excellent service when handling billing inquiries and following up on overdue accounts
• Utilize a continuous improvement mindset when learning our new ERP system (Trimble Vista) to create more efficient processes and procedures to best support AR and billing
• Support the accounting team with other duties as needed
