What You’ll Do

Facility & Equipment Maintenance

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Assist with preventative maintenance routines
• Support plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry-related repairs

Plumbing Support

• Repair leaks in drains and faucets
• Unclog drains and replace drain hoses
• Assist with trenching and laying new lines

Electrical Support

• Replace or repair switches, outlets, fixtures, bulbs, ballasts, sockets, cords, and minor appliances
• Safely use hand, power, and specialty tools

Grounds & Exterior Maintenance

• Maintain building exterior and grounds
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal grounds work

Team & Safety Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance coverage
• Monitor contractors and provide site-specific information
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Assist other maintenance team members as needed
• Complete required annual trainings and competency requirements

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Michigan driver’s license required
• Ability to operate Pine Rest transportation vehicles
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computer technology

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or general maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
