Join Pine Rest's mission-driven team of mental health professionals dedicated to helping individuals and families heal. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide assessment, counseling, treatment, advocacy, and referral services while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial and mental health assessments
- Provide individual, group, family, and evidence-based therapy services
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other treatment team members
- Document clinical interventions and progress notes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Connect patients with community resources and support services as needed
- Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Master's degree in:
- Social Work (MSW)
- Professional Counseling
- Psychology
- Current Michigan licensure in one of the following:
- LMSW or LLMSW
- LPC or LLPC
- Licensed or Limited License Psychologist
Experience
- 1-2 years of postgraduate clinical experience preferred
- Experience providing mental health assessment and psychotherapy services
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications relevant to treatment provided
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
