Join Pine Rest's mission-driven team of mental health professionals dedicated to helping individuals and families heal. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide assessment, counseling, treatment, advocacy, and referral services while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial and mental health assessments
  • Provide individual, group, family, and evidence-based therapy services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other treatment team members
  • Document clinical interventions and progress notes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Connect patients with community resources and support services as needed
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Master's degree in:
    • Social Work (MSW)
    • Professional Counseling
    • Psychology
  • Current Michigan licensure in one of the following:
    • LMSW or LLMSW
    • LPC or LLPC
    • Licensed or Limited License Psychologist

Experience

  • 1-2 years of postgraduate clinical experience preferred
  • Experience providing mental health assessment and psychotherapy services
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain certifications relevant to treatment provided
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations
  • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and customer service
