Nature of Work
The purpose of this position is to supervise and coordinate Mobile GR’s 24/7, year-round operational staff to ensure safe and efficient daily parking and mobility operations. During assigned shifts, the position oversees Mobile GR personnel, including but not limited to parking booth attendants, traffic management staff, special event aides, parking enforcement officers, custodial and security staff, dispatchers, customer service representatives, and equipment maintenance personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises the work of assigned personnel during an assigned shift; participates in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management processes; delegates work assignments; and conducts performance evaluations.
  • Operates, troubleshoots and performs minor repairs on parking access control equipment including software and hardware systems related to cash revenue management, vehicle counting, automatic vehicle identification, communication ticket dispensers, control gates, and coin units,
  • Responds promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, service requests, and complaints to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Oversee cash handling operations, including preparation and delivery of cash banks to scheduled cashiers; reviews shift reports for accuracy; and verifies bank deposits. According to established procedures.
  • Monitors parking and mobility facilities, operations, equipment, and premises to ensure safety, functionality, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
  • Maintains accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and spare parts; prepares and maintains records as required.
  • Direct and manages traffic flow to prevent overfilling of facilities; assists with events set up and coordination on city streets.
  • Reviews and recommend updates to policies, procedures and SOPs to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Audits parking revenue streams, reconciles financial data, and maintains accurate daily financial records to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Training and Experience
Required Education and Experience
  • Associate’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field

  • Two (2) years in customer service, operations, or facilities management environment, or related experience; including demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience.

  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
Required Licenses or Certifications
  • Michigan Driver’s license (or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)
