Supervisor Programs - Supports Coordinator

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Supervisor of Programs-Supports Coordination!
What You Will Be Doing
Working full-time as a Supervisor of Programs you will be responsible for providing supervision including hiring, training, coaching/mentoring, evaluating and disciplining. You will be responsible for assessing clinical need for services, reviewing service recommendations/requests, negotiating services when needed and performing triage/crisis functions. You will ensure all service delivery standards such as Medicaid, CARF, and program standards are met in a timely, quality manner. You will facilitate and coordinate services with other providers and community agencies. You will complete Intake assessments to determine eligibility for services. You will have a small caseload for which you will be the Primary Clinician and will provide culturally responsive Support Coordination functions of linking/monitoring of services including benefits, advocating, assisting with person centered planning.
What We Require
This position requires a Master's Degree in Human Services and a minimum of 5 years experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Licensure as LMSW, LLP, or LPC. Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and standards governing services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Advanced computer skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred 2 years of experience supervising/mentoring clinical staff.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Physical Efforts – Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.
Working Conditions – Office environment with noise from computers, copy machine, and telephones. Use of computer screen for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of viewing computer screen. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
