Your role as a Kent County Essential Needs Task Force - Administrative Coordinator

As the Part-Time Administrative Coordinator for the Kent County Essential Needs Task Force, your role will be both diverse and fulfilling. You'll attend and capture minutes for important meetings, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Your organizational prowess will shine as you schedule meetings and manage virtual and hybrid gatherings, facilitating seamless collaboration.

Additionally, you'll utilize tools like Mailchimp to send a variety of communications, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed. Creating engaging slides and other meeting documents will be part of your repertoire, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail. What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant for the Kent County Essential Needs Task Force, a robust skill set is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, but a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in poverty is crucial. Candidates should possess a commitment to helping families achieve stability and independence, alongside knowledge of the social service and nonprofit sectors. The ability to juggle multiple projects effectively, even amidst shifting priorities, is vital, as is strong written and verbal communication proficiency.

Applicants must excel in translating technical dialogue into clear meeting minutes and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Relationship-building skills and a moderate level of analytical thinking will aid in fostering collaboration. Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Office, WordPress, Google Workspace, Mailchimp, and Zoom is necessary, as is the ability to adapt to new technologies to enhance overall performance. Self-direction and the capacity to manage meeting logistics while engaging in conversation are key to success in this role.

Schedule: Hybrid Schedule working between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The typical offer range for this role is from minimum to midpoint, with the midpoint representing the average pay for this in a market scope. Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade for which this position belongs to. The salary offer considers a variety of factors relevant to this position, which includes knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The full salary range for this position at HWMUW is $20 - $25/hr.
