Due to our continuous growth, we're expanding the team yet again and are seeking to add a part-time HR/Recruiting to our team this year. We'd love to have you join us as a part-time HR/Recruiting Consultant!

What You'll Do

We are looking for an experienced recruiting guru that loves all things sourcing, interviewing, the thrill of filling a tough role, and the desire to expand their HR knowledge into other areas of HR! This individual will serve others with confidence, humility, genuine warmth and approachable influence. This role will average 20 hours per week (but could be more or less) with a main focus in recruitment, sourcing, and foundational HR generalist duties. Our HR/Recruiting Consultant may be involved in projects that include the following:

  • Collaborate with Senior Consultants to generate candidates for client openings by utilizing technology and creative sourcing methods and assist in scheduling interviews for clients and other CPG consultants
  • Assess candidates to ensure strong career and cultural add for our clients by managing end-to-end recruitment processes while ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and other candidate tracking systems
  • Coach clients on navigating sticky employee relations processes
  • Help clients review and update benefit offerings
  • Answer foundational HR employee questions
  • Craft Culture Guidebooks and Employee Handbooks

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience as a full cycle recruiter or HR Generalist with a talent acquisition focus. Agency, RPO or outsourced experience preferred.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification with broad-based HR generalist experience is a plus!
  • Passion for pouring into our clients and helping them strengthen their people programs and outcomes. Your time management, communication and organization skills are top-notch and you'll be an amazing ambassador for the CPG brand.
  • You get consulting life. You are a hustler and enjoy being in control of your nonlinear work schedule (in concert with your client obligations, of course), the projects you pick up, and your approach to solving problems. You're resourceful and creative and shine brightest when implementing new solutions.
  • Understanding of the West Michigan business culture and landscape, particularly small to medium sized organizations. We are also looking for a consultant who resides within 30 minutes of downtown GR for convenience of being onsite with our clients regularly.
