Nature of Work

The purpose of this job is to supervise facility attendants, traffic personnel and protective services officers. Maintains parking access control equipment and ensures customer service and cleanliness of facility. Orders supplies, tickets, and maintain spare parts to reduce equipment down time. Directs traffic and assist on all load in/outs.  Responds to all complaint, customer service needs on a daily basis.  Performs routine audits on paperwork and make procedural changes to training notebooks, manuals and SOP's.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises the work of assigned personnel; participates in hiring, training and disciplinary actions; delegates work assignments; conducts performance evaluations 
  • Operates, troubleshoots and repairs parking equipment including access control software, cash revenue management software and associated computers, fee computers, vehicle count, automatic vehicle identification, communication processes, ticket dispensers, control gates, coin units, etc.  
  • Responds to and resolves customer inquiries and complaints
  • Oversees the preparation and delivery of cash banks to scheduled cashiers during each shift; reviews shift reports for accuracy; verifies bank deposits 
  • Monitors maintenance of the facility and associated premises to ensure proper cleanliness 
  • Maintains inventory of supplies; creates and maintains records
  • Directs traffic; ensures parking lot does not overfill; writes tickets; organizes outdoor events on city streets
  • Reviews policies and procedures; creates procedural changes and updates as needed
  • Audits revenue streams; maintains daily financial records
  • Performs related work as required
Minimum Training and Experience
Required Education and Experience
  • Associate’s degree (bachelor's degree preferred)
--AND--
  • At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a service industry
--OR--
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
