LOCATION: W.A. Lettinga Campus - Grand Rapids, Michigan*

TARGET PAY: $17.50/hr

Reports to: Director-Campus Life
• Admin-Student Affairs

You Will: Serve as the point person for the Testing Center at the W.A. Lettinga campus, overseeing testing accommodations and data management. This position will proctor tests in conjunction with faculty directives while providing the accommodations necessary to the students. In addition, this position will support the Director, Campus Life with Student Access accommodation plans and the implementation processes while being a team player to all other Campus Life initiatives. These responsibilities are performed ethically consistent with the University's mission, vision, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Properly document, execute, and proctor tests within the Testing Center space.
• Understand the testing policies and procedures for each exam including technological components. Execute such procedures thoroughly and correctly.
• Maintain the security of the tests and the testing environment as well as the confidentiality of student accommodations.
• Provide a safe, inclusive, understanding, and distraction-reduced testing environment for students to thrive in.
• Assist the Director of Campus Life with student accommodation plans, including reviewing incoming requests, processing renewals, and collection/distribution of documentation.
• Greet students, verify identification, explain the testing process, proctor exams, and assist examinees with technical issues during testing calling upon faculty or technical support when necessary

• High school diploma (required)
• The ability to connect with students, providing a safe, and productive learning environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and follow established procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Demonstrated ability to set and accomplish goals, work under pressure, and meet deadlines; attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are necessary.

Extra Awesome If You Have:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• Prior experience in Student Affairs, Disability Services/Student Access, or test proctoring preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of office equipment (printer, copier, fax, scanner). Knowledge of Google Suites is preferred
