LOCATION: W.A. Lettinga Campus - Grand Rapids, Michigan*

Hybrid schedule possible.

DEPARTMENT: Student Financial Services

TARGET PAY: $15.00 - $17.00

The Role:

You will process refunds to student accounts while ensuring that transactions are performed in accordance with University and Federal Government guidelines. These responsibilities are performed in an ethical manner consistent with the University's mission, vision, and values which include diversity, equity and inclusion.

You Will:

• Monitors credit balance reports to identify accounts eligible for refund.
• Processes loan and other types of refunds within the guidelines of federal regulations.
• Audits refund accounts and works with the Student Financial Services Office to resolve account issues.
• Works with the Accounts Payable Department to process weekly check runs.

Awesome if You Have:

• A High School Diploma.
• One or more years related experience and/or training.
• Demonstrated positive organizational and technical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and oral which transcend diverse audiences.
• The ability to work accurately and effectively with computerized data systems and financial data.

Extra Awesome If You Have:

• Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of the financial aid regulations.
• Previous Financial Aid experience.
